I would like to ask which library has the newspapers of The Guardian and The Observer. And where can I find some DVDs of Circus performance? many thanks!… 699 Hello to you! You can find the newest issues of The Guardian weekly in the following libraries: Kannelmäki, Kontula, Viikki and Vuosaari. No reservations to other libraries can be made. You can read The Guardian in Metsätalo(one of the university campus libraries). The address is Unioninkatu 40. The other newspaper you were asking for, The Observer, does not seem to be anywhere in the Helsinki region, so you'll have to make an interlibrary loan for The Observer. No DVDs of the sort you asked for can be found. There is unfortunately only a documentary film called "All together now", where the group Cirque du Soleil performs.

Could you tell me the main area of the books in different libraries, for instance, library 10 is for music and ...? I would like to search books in language … 1568 I am not sure if I fully understand your question. You are right, Library 10 is the library that has the largest collections of music, but they also have some books, especially on IT and travelling. In every other library in the Metropolitan area there are books on languages and arts, and also some encyclopedias. The largest collections of arts books are probably at Rikhardinkatu Library http://www.lib.hel.fi/en-GB/rikhardinkatu/yhteystiedot/. Pasila library is the Main library of Helsinki City Library, so there are the best collections of reference books like encyclopedias. They also have a multiligual library with books in about 70 languages, and a lot of books for learning different languiages. http://www.lib.hel.fi/en-GB/pasila/…

What is a digital library 1003 According to Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_library, a digital library is “a library in which collections are stored in digital formats (as opposed to print, microform, or other media) and accessible by computers”. “The DELOS Digital Library Reference Model” mentioned in the Wikipedia article defines it as “[a]n organization, which might be virtual, that comprehensively collects, manages and preserves for the long term rich digital content, and offers to its user communities specialized functionality on that content, of measurable quality and according to codified policies”. I need some materials about budgetary institutions accounting. If you have this kind of materials I would need their names, so I could borrow them. (I have to… 495 Unfortunately, your question is so special, that you should obviously contact one or several special libraries. The libraries that come to mind in first order are the Library of Parliament and the Library of the Helsinki School of Economics. Both libraries are open to all users. You speak of ”budgetary institutions” in general. That field is very large – it seems to me that this term includes all kinds of institutions, financed by various states and by various international organizations. However, if you really should write on such a general level, there is a useful looking report in the Internet, published by the World Band in 2007. Here is the address: http://siteresources.worldbank.org/PSGLP/Resources/BudgetingandBudgetar… If you…

For using Stadinetti, you need a HelMet library card and PIN code. If you don’t have them, you can get them from your local library by showing your identification card (for example your passport or Finnish driving licence).
