My family has few books that would like to donate, give them further. Does the main library from Jyväskylä accepts book donations? 23 I'm sorry, but Jyväskylä City Library no longer accepts book donations. The main library has a special shelf for customers, where you can bring unnecessary books and take the ones you want from the shelf. You can only bring a few books to the shelf because there is limited space. The book exchange shelf is on the 1st floor of the main library next to the elevator.

I'd like to know ablout the Irish great famine in the 1840s. Also, I want to know about the causes and symptoms of potato blight. 17 The great famine of Ireland took place in 1845-1849, and it is said that about a million people died of hunger during those years. In the early 1840's around a third of Irish people depended on the potato as their main source of food, and thus the destruction of the potato harvest because of potato blight in 1845 launched a catastrophe. More information about the famine: http://www.wesleyjohnston.com/users/ireland/past/famine/index.htm http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/british/victorians/famine_01.shtml Potato blight is a potato disease caused by a fungus. Its origins are in America, from where it spread to Europe by a shipment of seed potatoes destined for Belgian farmers in 1845. Potato blight first affects the leaves and later the actual…
I'm looking for a regional variation of the lullaby, "Tii tii tikanpoika..."sung in the area around Sysma where my grandmother was born in 1879. Is it possible to donate books in Finnish, Swedish, English, Russian and Ukrainian to Pasila Library? 17 It is possible to offer books that are in good condition as donations to Helmet libraries. However, there are two things to keep in mind here:First, the books aren't donated directly to any particular library — rather, the books "float" between all the libraries of the organization, so even if a book is initially received by, say, Pasila library, the book might well end up in the shelves of various other libraries in the area.Second, the library only accepts the books it judges there would be sufficient demand for, so the library might be somewhat picky when it comes to book donations — the main reason for this is is the fact that the library has to remove thousands of books every year from its collections in order to make room for new…
I would like to view the number of book borrowers in “each” public library of Helsinki for the year 2019 14 The public libraries of Finland release each year public data about all kinds of things at https://tilastot.kirjastot.fi/.The data can be sorted so that you can see the data of all the Helsinki libraries collectively, but unfortunately you can't see data of each individual library (e.g. Pasila library, Oodi library, etc...). If you are interested in the data relating to the number of borrowers and loans of the public libraries of Helsinki collectively in 2019, you can find it here: https://tilastot.kirjastot.fi/?orgs=400&years=2019&stats=104%2C110%2C111#resultsAs of now, the data relating to each specific library has to be extracted from our library system manually, and if you are interested in such data, you can try contacting…
I am looking for the e-book version of the sole commentary with the following bibliographic details: Bibliographic information Title: Guide to the Finnish… 7 Unfortunately, the book is not available for the public use. You have to buy a license to read it. For example, in our library one can read the book inside parliament's own network, because we have bought the license to use it. Only options are commercial e-book bookshops, like: https://www.kauppakamarikauppa.fi/collections/juridiikka-kirjat/products/opas-keskuskauppakamarin-valimiesmenettelysaantoihin-guide-to-the-finnish-arbitration-ruleshttps://lakitieto.edita.fi/verkkokauppa/rikos-ja-prosessioikeus/rikos-ja-prosessioikeus-kirjat/guide-to-the-finnish-arbitration-rules/
